Michael was in the holiday spirit and couldn't wait to share in it with his girlfriend, Carol. He had bought two tickets to paradise, hoping to whisk her away on a romantic vacation to Jamaica. Carol came by the office early to have a talk with Michael and it didn't go well.

Weihnachten steht vor der Tür. Und für den frühen Nachmittag ist eine Weihnachtsfeier in Michaels Office geplant. Neben anderen Gästen ist auch Carol herzlich eingeladen. Und Michael möchte sie mit einer gemeinsamen Reise nach Jamaica überraschen. Jedoch zu Michaels großer Überraschung kommt Carol viel zu früh zu der Feier und ist derart genervt von den übertriebenen Scherzen ihres Freundes und verlässt ihn kurzum.

En guise de consolation, Andy, accompagné de Dwight et Jim, emmène Michael faire la tournée des bars. Pendant ce temps, suite à des tensions entre Angela, Pam et Karen, il y aura deux fêtes de Noël en concurrence cette année.
