Red is angry that Donna and Eric are engaged, so he gives Eric the silent treatment, leaving it up to Donna to try to talk to him. Fez finally does it with Nina; he's happy that he finally did it, but afterwards, things aren't so great. Kelso gives Jackie a birthday present, but insists that he's not trying to do anything; Hyde didn't even know it was her birthday.

Red ist gar nicht begeistert von der Verlobung seines Sohns und straft Eric deshalb mit eisigem Schweigen. Als der sich unbeeindruckt zeigt, greift Red schließlich zu drastischeren Mitteln, um Eric dazu zu bringen, die Verlobung zu lösen. Kelso versucht indes mit einem teuren Geburtstagsgeschenk bei Jackie zu punkten. Damit macht er sich jedoch nicht gerade bei Hyde beliebt. Spätzünder Fez hat Neuigkeiten für die Gang.
